  • To recognise normal and abnormal cortical development on fetal MRI, with emphasis on imaging features of major cortical malformations
  • To understand essential MRI sequences used in fetal brain imaging, including their role in evaluating normal anatomy, detecting pathology, and complementary insights from postmortem fetal MRI

Dr Nina Tunariu

Dr Nina Tunariu is a consultant radiologist at Royal Marsden Hospital with 15 years of experience in Whole Body MRI and special interest in metastatic prostate cancer, clinical trials imaging and advanced ovarian cancer.

Evolving role of Whole Body MRI for cancer treatment

Session Objectives

  • Familiarise with latest protocol development in MRI
  • Discuss the role of whole-body MRI in screening
  • Discuss the role of WBMRI in cancer staging
  • Discuss the role of WBMRI in monitoring metastatic disease

Dr Tristan Barrett

Dr Tristan Barrett is Associate Professor in Radiology and Honorary Consultant Radiologist at Addenbrooke's Hospital, University of Cambridge. He is the Clinical Lead for urogenital radiology at Addenbrooke's Hospital, Cambridge and the Imaging Lead for East Anglia Cancer Alliance. His research interests center on novel MRI techniques for identifying and characterising prostate tumors.

Prostate MRI - Basics, Protocols and PI-RADS

Session Objectives

  • To appreciate the role of MRI in the work-up of suspected prostate cancer
  • To understand the role of PI-RADS in standardising prostate multiparametric MRI
  • To recognise the role and limitations of each multiparametric technique

Dr Lawrence Schwartz

KEYNOTE SPEAKER

Dr Lawrence Schwartz is a Chair of the Department of Radiology at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK), he oversees a team of radiologists renowned for their expertise in oncologic imaging across all disease areas and all diagnostic and therapeutic imaging modalities. He is internationally recognized for the innovative application of new technology in imaging to improve both clinical care and drug discovery.

The Radiologist in the Age of Oncology Biomarkers

Session Objectives

  • Describe the expanding role of biomarkers in modern oncology and explain where imaging fits within biomarker-driven cancer care.
  • Differentiate tissue, blood-based, and imaging biomarkers and discuss how these approaches complement one another in diagnosis, treatment selection, and response assessment.
  • Recognize how imaging can function as a biomarker platform by capturing whole-body disease burden, spatial heterogeneity, target expression, and treatment effect over time.
  • Discuss the limitations of conventional radiologic response assessment in the setting of precision oncology, targeted therapy, immunotherapy, and radiotheranostics.
  • Identify emerging opportunities for radiologists in biomarker-driven oncology, including patient selection, therapy monitoring, clinical trial design, and multidisciplinary decision-making

Dr Marcus Raudner

Dr Marcus Raudner is a consultant radiologist at Diagnosecentrum Liesing and academic researcher from Medical University of Vienna where he is heavily involved.

MOCART 2.0 scoring system

Session Objectives

  • Understand the principles and development of the MOCART 2.0 scoring system for cartilage repair assessment
  • Apply MOCART 2.0 criteria to interpret MRI findings in post-operative cartilage repair patients
  • Recognise the clinical relevance of MOCART 2.0 scores in guiding patient management and outcomes research

Dr Amanda Isaac

Dr Amanda Isaac is a distinguished Musculoskeletal Diagnostic and Interventional Radiologist at Guy's and St Thomas' hospitals in the UK. She showcases expertise in Spine, Sports Medicine and Skeletal Oncology, fueling her pioneering work in Skeletal Radiology.

AI & MSK

Session Objectives

  • Critically evaluate the current clinical applications of artificial intelligence in musculoskeletal imaging, including its impact on diagnostic accuracy, reporting efficiency, and workflow across MRI, CT, and radiography
  • Appraise the evidence base underpinning AI in MSK radiology, with emphasis on validation, reproducibility, bias, and limitations affecting safe and effective clinical deployment
  • Formulate practical strategies for the responsible integration of AI into MSK radiology practice, including governance, regulatory considerations, and implications for the consultant radiologist's role

Dr Danoob Dalili

Dr Danoob Dalili is a fellowship trained Consultant Musculoskeletal radiologist with expertise in all aspects of diagnostic and image-guided treatments for orthopaedic, sports, rheumatological and spine conditions. He regularly lectures and teaches internationally in his field, is the chief viva examiner for the European diploma in musculoskeletal radiology and nominated vice-chair of the European Society of Musculoskeletal Radiology Education committee.

Management of fragility fractures. The role of the Interventional Radiologist.

Session Objectives

  • Define fragility fractures and identify the common sites resulting from low-energy trauma
  • Understand the epidemiology of osteoporosis-related fractures, including significant morbidity, mortality, and economic burden on health systems
  • Recognise the role of 'silent fracture', particularly the high prevalence of under-reported vertebral fragility fractures (VFFs) on CT/MRI, and their role as predictors of future, more severe fractures

Dr Timothy Sadler

Dr Timothy Sadler is consultant radiologist at Addenbrooke's, Cambridge and radiology lead for oncology clinical trials and RECIST reporting. He subspecialises in cardiovascular imaging.
